Terms Of Entry:
1> Upon acceptance, each film is requested to set up at least (1) link from the film and filmmaker's website(s) to: http://www.malibufilmfestival.com 2> Films must have been completed after January 1, 2007. 3> Entries must be sent on (NTSC) DVD in small jewel case, no artwork or press kits included. 4> Once selected, the film must have available either a 35mm; HDcam, Digibeta or DVD for projection (10) days prior to festival. 5> AT LEAST ONE representative (producer and director) of each competitive project are required to be part of a Q&A session immediately following their screening(s). 6> Participants agree that their film or clips from it and all other material related to their project may be used and/or published in the event program, MFF web site and for any promotional purposes which MFF deems appropriate. 7> No viewing tapes and/or promotional materials will be returned to the filmmaker. 8> If selected, all commercial/private property including all trademark/copyrighted materials shown or recorded on the project is the responsibility of the filmmaker. MFF will NOT take responsibility for any infringement of copy written materials. 9> Once selected, the cost of delivery and return of films in competition is the responsibility of the filmmaker. 10> MFF holds no responsibility for lost or damaged prints. While the utmost care will be taken with regard to prints, it is solely up to the filmmaker to take full responsibility (i.e.insurance).
